Bale Kambang Beach

The beach is located in the Village Balekambang Srigoco, District Bantur, about 70 Kilometers south of the city of Malang, or about 170 Kilometers from the capital of East Java, Surabaya. Kambang bale Beach is a hidden gem among the attractions in East MalangJawa dominated by Mount Bromo tourist town of Batu as the main icon which is the ideal mountain.


Here, a wide white sandy beach stretches almost nonstop for 2 kilometers. The sights and sounds of the raging waves hitting the beach presents its own unique beauty. On shallow beaches, visitors can swim or just play around in the water, however, swim outside the red flag marked not allowed for this beach famous for its swirling currents. The beach is also decorated with lines of trees on a perfect beach visitors shelter from the scorching sun. Thus, making it the perfect place to lie down and release the tension of everyday city life.

The beach with three rocky island named after characters in leather puppet stories: Anoman Beach, Beach Wisanggeni and Ismoyo Beach. Wisanggeni Island .The island connected to the shore Ismoyo connected by a 100 meter long concrete bridge. Sitting dramatically on the island Ismoyo is Amrita Teak Temple or also simply known as the temple Ismoyo. Different bearing characteristics similar to Hindu temples in Bali, temple on the rock and the bridge linking creates a beautiful view overlooking the vast blue sea. When the sun set over the horizon, the silhouette of the temple in the sky brilliantly colorful produce more spectacular scenery.

Teak Amerta or Pura Ismoyo built in 1985 by the Regent at the time, Edi Slamet. Modeled after the construction of the famous Tanah Lot temple in Bali, this temple is a sacred place for the followers of Hinduism in which various religious rituals take place. One of the most highlighted ritual that happens here is the ritual Live Dhipuja. Rite is performed three days before Nyepi rituals as part of a series celebrating the Saka or the Hindu new year. The main highlight of the ritual Dhipuja Jolen live is a float, in which offerings are given to the sea as a symbol of gratitude to God for all His blessings, and to ward off misfortune in the future.

Despite the remote location, Balekambang Beach has all the necessary facilities, from restrooms and showers, snacks and food stalls, restaurants, lifeguard, souvenir shop, for a simple inn. So, whether it is to bathe in the sun, watching the beautiful temples, or just immerse in the beauty of nature, Balekambang Beach is truly a must-see tourist Indonesia.
